Question by UltraViolet: Do microfinance institutions invest their own profit money (ie in stocks, pension funds etc)?
Please can you tell me if microfinance institutions generate revenue by investing their profits in anything as well as the “investment” which is the funding of microfinance projects?
If so, what do they invest in, can microfinance institutions go bust? Are they constrained by ethical considerations, are microfinance institutions for profit?
